The Amare Games Database

A Free Searchable Database for Indie Game Developers in the development stage. Currently focusing on Indie Amare, Indie Otome, Indie Visual Novels, and Interactive Fiction Games with Romance and Relationship Elements.

Project details

Built on Wordpress using the Avada Child Theme. Database is built using Advanced Custom Fields and Taxonomies. Search function being built using Vue.js.

Created as my capstone project for my Front End Web Developer Course via Udacity.

  • Has Development Mode, Production Mode, Service Workers and Jest Testing.
  • Uses multiple APIs to create requests from external URLS - Geonames, WeatherBit, Pixabay.

A twitter bot that likes and retweets the hashtags #AmareGames, #AmareDev, #AmareGame and #AmareTeaBreak

  • Utilising the Twitter Streaming API to retweet and like posts based on specific hashtags.
  • Deployed via Heroku.
